Trash Day Trends

Tuesday is trash day for more of the homes we checked than any other day.

What people are getting when they check their address on TrashDayNow, and when they check — as shares, not counts. Updated October 28, 2026.

How these figures are made

Shares of real checks, never a count.

Every figure on this page is a percentage from the address checks made on TrashDayNow over the last 30 days — the trending list uses the last 7 — from real visitors only. The trash-day split and what comes with it are shares of homes: a home counts once, on its latest answer, however often it is checked, and a home with more than one trash day a week counts on each. When people check is a share of all checks.

A city appears in a ranking, a chart or a list only once enough different homes have been checked there, and shares from a small city are rounded. Nothing here identifies an address, a street or a person; the day you see on your own result is yours alone.

The set-out deadline comes from each city's published rules as read for its guide, not from visitors. Collection-day counts come only from cities whose full route map we have read, never from a sample of addresses.

Check your address and the answer shows your day beside the share of homes that share it — nationally, in your city and in your ZIP.
