Pickup days in Whitby depend on your street. Enter your address above to see yours.

Some Whitby addresses have no collection day in the source this lookup reads. Where that is the case we say so, rather than show a day that is not yours.

The example days above are read from Town of Whitby and were last checked on October 12, 2026.

The Town of Whitby collects garbage every other week and green bin organics every week, on each home's collection day; leaf and yard waste goes out every other week with the garbage from April to the end of November (on some routes the calendar's last round falls in the first days of December). Blue Box recycling, also weekly on the same day, is Circular Materials' program, collected by its contractor Miller Waste Systems. A pickup that falls on a statutory holiday moves to the next day: in Thanksgiving week 2026 the Town's calendar moved every route one day later (Friday's to Saturday), and Christmas Day's Friday pickups move to Saturday, December 26. New Year's Day 2027, a Friday, is not marked as a holiday on the Town's calendar yet, which still lists Friday pickups that day, so check the calendar that week. Some Whitby properties are on private service or have no Town collection, and the lookup says so rather than give them a day.

Whitby publishes a per-address collection calendar (Town of Whitby waste collection calendar) through the ReCollect service. There is no single weekday for all of Whitby to quote: each address has its own dated calendar, which is why the lookup shows upcoming dates for your property.

We last checked Whitby on October 12, 2026: 16 of 24 addresses returned an exact collection day. The days they returned were Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. That is what our check saw, not a full list of Whitby's pickup days.

The Town of Whitby publishes garbage, Blue Box, green bin and yard waste days for Whitby on its waste collection calendar; this page last read them on October 12, 2026. Set-out rules (garbage goes out in bags, not cans), service alerts and garbage, green bin and yard waste questions belong with the Town of Whitby, not here. For a missed Blue Box collection, a new or replacement blue box and other recycling questions, whitby.ca sends residents to Miller Waste Systems, Circular Materials' local recycling contractor.
