How days are assigned
How Porterville assigns collection days.
The City of Porterville divides the city into four collection zones with Highway 65 as the main dividing line: garbage (the black can) is collected on Thursday in Zones 1 and 2, east of Highway 65, and on Friday in Zones 3 and 4, west of it; the lookup reads the zone for your address.
