How Pontiac assigns collection days.
The City of Pontiac's street-level map of garbage routes paints the whole city in five route areas, one for each weekday from Monday to Friday; the lookup reads the route area for your address.
Trash is collected weekly. Priority Waste collects for the City. The map dates from 2009, and Priority Waste republished it in 2024 saying collection days were not changing. It answers any point inside a route area, so the day is for curbside residential cart service: businesses and apartment complexes on dumpster service arrange their own collection.
