How days are assigned
How Palm Springs assigns collection days.
Palm Springs Disposal Services, the City's franchised residential hauler, publishes a residential pick-up schedule map that puts each neighborhood on one weekday, Monday to Friday; the lookup reads the neighborhood for your address.
Trash is collected weekly. Residential service is by subscription with PSDS, with waste, recycling and green waste all picked up on the same day. An address on a line between two neighborhoods gets no day rather than a guess, and commercial customers call PSDS for their schedule.
