National City runs on most holidays, and names the short list that changes. EDCO's published rule: EDCO does not collect on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. When one of these falls on a weekday, pickups on and after the holiday run one day late for the rest of that week (Friday moves to Saturday); earlier days are unchanged, and a holiday on a Saturday or Sunday causes no delay. On other holidays, including Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Juneteenth and Veterans Day, collection runs as normal.

The dates below are the federal holidays left this year, with what EDCO's published schedule means for each of those weeks.
