Brookhaven, GA trash pickup by address.

Trash / garbage: Monday.

Monday is what one Brookhaven address returned on October 26, 2026.

Brookhaven homes are served by DeKalb County Solid Waste Management rather than a city sanitation department, and the county collects garbage, recycling, and yard trimmings on a single weekly service day.

Containers may go out after 7 p.m. the evening before pickup, must be at the curb by 7 a.m. on collection day, and must be brought back within 24 hours after service.

Bulky-item and special collections are scheduled ahead of time through the county's online request form.

County-observed holidays change the collection schedule, so residents should check the county's holiday notices before setting out carts.
